One of the biggest pending free agents is expected to make it to the open market Tuesday.

Canadian defensive tackle Ted Laurent, who has played the last four seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, is expected to test free agency Tuesday, according to a report from TSN's Dave Naylor.

Laurent would be one of the biggest names available in free agency but Naylor added the 30-year-old is still open to a return to the Ticats.

Laurent played just 12 games last year, battling injury, but still finished with 13 tackles and four sacks. For his career, the Mississippi product has 150 tackles and 35 sacks in 110 games split between the Ticats and Edmonton Eskimos.
