2015 World Junior Prospects - Edmonton Oilers

The World Junior Hockey Championship is not only a tournament to showcase Canada's best under-20s but some of the top young players from around the world.

Take a look at the Edmonton Oilers prospects that represented their respective nations at the 2015 World Junior Hockey Championship in Montreal and Toronto.

Dec. 26: Lagesson got a late-game roughing penalty against the Czechs.

Dec. 27: Lagesson earned an assist on Sweden's game-winning goal in the first period.

Dec. 29: Lagesson drew a hooking penalty and put one shot on goal against Russia.

Dec. 31: Lagesson drew a holding penalty and registered four shots against Switzerland.

Jan. 2: Lagesson went minus-1 with a roughing penalty in Sweden's QF win over Finland.

Jan. 4: Lagesson logged two shots on goal and went minus-1 in Sweden's SF loss to Russia.

Jan. 5: Lagesson had one shot on net and was plus-1 in Sweden's bronze medal loss.

*Lagesson finished the tournament plus-1 and was of three Swedish defence to finish as a positive.
