Scott Gomez and Wade Redden are unrestricted free agents. The two players cleared waivers on Thursday and were bought out by by their respective teams; the Montreal Canadiens and New York Rangers. Full Story.
Put On Waivers
Toronto Maple Leafs forward Tim Connolly was placed on waivers on Thursday. The veteran forward is in the final year of his contract, which carries a cap hit of $4.75 million. Last season, Connolly played in 70 games with the Leafs, recording 13 goals and 23 assists. Full Story.
