73.2% - Edmonton
CGY 20 EDM 18.
I would be surprised if this game did not finish in a similar fashion as the last game, the Stampeders squeaking out a 31-30 victory on Labour Day Monday. For Edmonton, I was really impressed by Kerry Joseph, who threw for 200 yards in the first half and made some spectacular critical throws in the 4th quarter to give the Eskimos a chance to win. I think Edmonton has found their leader for the present time. Compliments, as well, go to Kevin Glenn of the Stampeders. On the game-winning drive, 4-of-5 for 51 yards in only one minute and 31 seconds. What will happen in Friday's rematch? Same game, different winner. Calgary 24, Edmonton 29

Finish! Finish! Finish! That is all that will be talked and written about this week as Hamilton has lost four 4th quarter leads. Let's say they had won all four of those games. Instead of 3-6 they would be 7-2. What a battle of productive football between Chad Simpson and Chris Williams and this week both should make an impact. For Toronto, run defense is a priority. Chevon Walker had over 100 yards but I guess that is offset by Chad Owens' 405 yards; the third best in CFL history. Hamilton 23, Toronto 28

71.9% - B.C.
MTL 10 BC 43.
For Montreal to win, they must do a better job on Tim Brown in the return game. BC had over 130 yard advantage last week, which means a shorter field for Lulay and his offense. For BC to win, they must stop Montreal early... very early . For the last two weeks now, the Allouetts have scored a touchdown on their opening possession. This one too should be just like the last meeting and again, just a different winner. Montreal 27, BC 30

78.9% - Saskatchewan
SSK 25 WPG 24.
We will see if Buck Peirce starts, i Winnipeg can score a first quarter touchdown, and if the Bombers home crowd can make a difference. After a 52-0 loss, what is going to happen next? In a very real way, an all-time low for the football organization. The first touchdown will mean a lot as it will effect confidence throughout the game. I would like to think Bomber pride takes over and I have no doubt that 52-0 will not happen again, but it is Saskatchewan that regained their swagger and confidence. Saskatchewan 28, Winnipeg 24
