With both sides scheduled for their hearing on Friday, the Montreal Canadiens and restricted free agent P.K. Subban have set up their respective asking prices in salary arbitration. Nick De Santis has been removed from his job as sporting director of the struggling Montreal Impact. Team president Joey Saputo said De Santis will stay with the team in an administrative role but would not be involved in decisions on players or the team. Full Story.

The Montreal Canadiens have hired Dan Lacroix as assistant coach and Rob Ramage as player development coach. Lacroix, 45, worked as an assistant coach in the NHL for seven of the past eight seasons, including last season with the Eastern Conference champion New York Rangers. Full Story.
