Spezza scores goal, assist as Senators hold off Flames

Jason Spezza had a goal and an assist Tuesday night as the Ottawa Senators defeated the Calgary Flames 3-2. Spezza scored the winning goal late in the second period and Brian Elliott made 27 saves, including two huge stops as Calgary pressed for the tying goal in the dying seconds. Sigh of Relief

Team Canada can breathe a sigh of relief as an MRI on Ducks' forward Ryan Getzlaf 's sprained ankle showed no significant ligament or muscle tears. Getzlaf, who is now considered day-to-day, was excited by the news. Full Story.

Canucks Sunk

Martin St. Louis scored two third-period goals and the Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Vancouver Canucks 3-1 on Tuesday night. Steven Stamkos added a goal and an assist for the Lightning, who have won four in a row for the first time since Nov. 2007. Full Story.
