MONTREAL - Goalkeeper Evan Bush agreed to a new contract with the Montreal Impact on Friday.

Neither the length of the deal nor the financial terms were released by the Major League Soccer club.

Bush took over from Troy Perkins as the starting goalie midway through the season. The 28-year-old reached career highs in starts with 13. He also helped the Impact win a second straight Amway Canadian Championship and reach the quarter-finals of the CONCACAF Champions League.

He joined the Impact in 2011, a year before they entered MLS.

He is among six players signed for next season along with defenders Eric Miller, Adrian Lopez and Krzysztof Krol and midfielders Ignacio Piatti and Jeremy Gagnon-Lapare.

The Impact also announced it will play the return leg of its Champions League quarter-final against Mexican club Pachuca on March 3 at Olympic Stadium.

The first match of the aggregate goals series will be played in Mexico on Feb. 24.
