Philadelphia Phantoms forward Garrett Klotz was released from Pennsylvania Hospital on Saturday after undergoing extensive testing.
Klotz suffered multiple facial lacerations and went into a seizure as a result of a first-period fight in Friday's game against Kevin Westgarth of the Manchester Monarchs in the American Hockey League.
Klotz left the ice on a stretcher and was immediately taken to hospital, where it was revealed he suffered lacerations but no fractures to his face.
The Phantoms released a statement saying Klotz received stitches to close a cut but is feeling no ill effects from the incident. The team says he will receive a follow-up evaluation from team doctors Monday and is expected to make a full recovery.
