CHICAGO - Sam Carrick scored at 3:49 of overtime as the Toronto Marlies edged the host Chicago Wolves 3-2 on Friday in American Hockey League action.
David Broll and Spencer Abbott also scored for the Marlies (21-11-4) and all three goals came on the power play.
Cade Fairchild and Sergey Andronov supplied the offence for the Wolves (20-14-3) while Mark Mancari assisted on both of his club's goals.
Toronto's Garret Sparks made 25 saves for his third win of the season as Jake Allen allowed three goals on 26 shots for Chicago.
Broll opened the scoring at 19:41 of the first period and Abbott doubled Toronto's lead at 11:29 of the second.
Abbott's goal extended his point streak to five games, which included four goals and four assists.
