The Montreal Alouettes have locked up their first pick in the draft, linebacker Chris Ackie.

The team announced Monday they have signed the fourth-overall pick to a three-year deal.

After four seasons at Wilfrid Laurier University, where the 23-year-old racked up 129 tackles, he attended New York Giants rookie mini-camp on a tryout basis.

With Ackie’s signing, the Alouettes have locked up their entire 2015 draft class.

In other Als news,  SB Mardy Gilyard left practice with an ankle injury. The preliminary diagnosis is an Achilles tendon injury with an MRI scheduled for tomorrow.

Canadian QB Brandon Bridge is working with the third team offence.
