The Toronto Argonauts appear close to locking up two important free agents ahead of the market opening on February 9.

The Argos are closing in on deals with national defensive back Jermaine Gabriel and national linebacker Cory Greenwood, with GM Jim Barker optimistic both will get done before February 9th, according to TSN's Farhan Lalji.

Despite missing six games last year, Gabriel finished with 51 tackles and two forced fumbles. Greenwood meanwhile, had 36 tackles and a sack in eight games for the Argos last year.
