The Toronto Argonauts have signed international running back Bernard Scott.

Scott most recently played for the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals. Over five NFL seasons he dressed in 49 regular season games, carried the ball 259 times for 1,049 yards and four touchdowns, made 31 catches for 175 yards, and returned 73 kickoff for 1,787 yards and one touchdown. He was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week after taking a kickoff return back 96 yards for a touchdown during a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2009.

An outstanding performer in college, Scott turned in back-to-back 2,000-plus yard rushing seasons for Abilene Christian University and scored a remarkable 73 total touchdowns in two seasons. He earned the Harlon Hill trophy as MVP for NCAA Division II football as a senior in 2008.
