Earnhardt starts 12-car wreck at Daytona; test shut down

Dale Earnhardt Jr. started a 12-car accident at Daytona International Speedway that essentially shut down a three-day test session. Running in NASCAR

Danica Patrick says she does not plan to race in this year's Indianapolis 500 because she wants to concentrate on her first full-time season in NASCAR's Sprint Cup series. Patrick also skipped the Indy 500 last year, instead running in the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on the same day. She said Thursday that she will do the same in 2013. Full Story.

Michael Waltrip will enter the Daytona 500 this season with Swan Racing. The two-time Daytona 500 winner will drive the No. 30 Toyota in a one-race deal. The team will use full-time driver David Stremme the rest of the season. Full Story.
