J.R. Fitzpatrick claimed the pole position in NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 qualifying on Saturday at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park for Sunday's Pinty's presents the Vortex Brake Pads 200. Fitzpatrick, out of Ayr, Ont., established a track record with an 83.286-second lap on the 2.459-mile road course for an average speed of 106.289 mph. It is the 12th career pole for the defending race winner. Full Story.

Kyle Busch snapped a seven-race drought on the NASCAR Truck Series by winning Friday night at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Busch dominated the early, but had to overcome a penalty that sent him to the back of the pack midway through the race. Full Story.
