Jarno Trulli says he will make a decision on his Formula One future following this weekend's Toyota Motor Sport festival in Japan.
Toyota's decision to pull out of F1 has left the veteran driver without a ride for next season. A recent test with the NASCAR team owned by Michael Waltrip raised eyebrows as to a possible move to the stock car series, Trulli says he has several other F1 options.
"I'm in talks with several teams and soon I will take my decision," he tells Autosport. "You never know in life. I keep my door open, but definitely I'm dealing closely with some team."
Trulli has been linked with the new Lotus entry for next season, which has the financial backing of the Malaysian government and includes Mike Gascoyne, whom he worked with while at Toyota.
