Sebastian Vettel may have lost the Formula One championship to Jenson Button but the young German is the pick of team bosses as the top driver of 2009.
Autosport magazine sought out the opinions of the 10 team bosses and the Red Bull Racing driver was a clear choice over Button, garnering 76 points to the Englishman's 67.
Lewis Hamilton, last year's world champion, finished third while Fernando Alonso was a distant fourth. Rubens Barrichello rounded out the top five.
Kimi Raikkonen and Mark Webber were tied for sixth followed by Felipe Massa, who missed most of the last half of the season due to injury. Robert Kubica and Adrian Sutil completed the top 10.
