TSN has live coverage of Indy events in Toronto and Edmonton

Toronto, ON – As the IZOD IndyCar Series invades the streets of Canada in July, TSN has exclusive coverage of two of the nation's top motorsport events, the Hondy Indy Toronto and the Edmonton Indy. 

Live coverage of the Hondy Indy Toronto begins Sunday, July 10 at 2 p.m. ET on TSN, TSN Mobile TV, and TSN Radio 1050. Fans can also tune in to TSN Radio 1050 at 5pm et for post-race analysis hosted by Jim Tatti.

Toronto's Exhibition Place course features hometown favourite Paul Tracy, of Scarborough, ON, alongside fellow countrymen Alex Tagliani of Lachenaie, QC, and rising newcomer James Hinchcliffe of nearby Oakville, ON. Will Power returns to the Hondy Indy Toronto to defend his title while current points leader Dario Franchitti looks to better his second place finish from last year. The grid also includes Indianapolis 500 runner-up J.R. Hildebrand as well as open-wheel stars Danica Patrick and Helio Castroneves.

TSN's Off the Record with Michael Landsberg sits down with fan favourite Franchitti in the OTR studio tonight at 5pm et/2pm pt.

TSN will also air the 2011 Firestone Indy Lights: Honda Indy Toronto race at Noon et/9am pt before the main event.

The 2011 IZOD IndyCar Series continues with the Edmonton Indy on Sunday, July 24 at 2 p.m. ET, live on TSN and TSN Mobile TV. The newly redesigned Edmonton City Centre Airport course will feature Tracy, Tagliani and Hinchcliffe, making it the first time three Canadians will be in the main grid since 2005.

SPORTSCENTRE will be on site in Toronto and Edmonton to keep racing fans updated on the IndyCar events while TSN.ca will provide extensive reports on all of the news coming out of both races.
