Gareth Bale scored two goals and set up another to lead Wales to a convincing 3-0 victory over Israel and into first place in the Euro2016 qualifiers' Group B on Saturday.

Moments before halftime in Haifa, Bale headed a pass in the area toward Aaron Ramsey, who headed past Israeli goalkeeper Ofir Marciano. In the 50th minute, Bale scored on a free kick after Eytan Tibi took him down outside the area. The striker added another goal in the 77th.

The result ended Israel's perfect record in the campaign, and dealt a blow to its attempt to qualify for its first European Championship.

In late Group B matches, Belgium hosted Cyprus, and Andorra played Bosnia-Herzegovina.
