John Scott on wrong end of David vs. Goliath momentBarDown Staff (@BarDown) Apr. 13, 2014 8:04 PM
John Scott is well known in hockey circles for using his fists for the Buffalo Sabres. His role on the team has been debated many times, one thing people do not argue about is his ability to fight. He got a chance to do just that during the 1st period of the Sabres final game of the regular season against the Islanders. Scott dropped the gloves with the NYI's 32 year old rookie Justin Johnson. At first look it seemed like an unfair fight. The MSG broadcasters even refer to it as a "David vs. Goliath" matchup. The rookie Johnson is 5'10, 220 lbs, while Scott is 6'8, 270 lbs. Thing is, Johnson not only held his own, he put Scott down. Take a look.
