The Simpsons love-hate relationship with hockey

While watching a massive Simpsons marathon currently on FXX one of the show's producers, Mike Scully, has been tweeting interesting facts and stories. One in particular has caught the eye of hockey fans:

I guess the NHL let it slide, after all the show has shown them a lot of love over the years, here's the best Simpsons hockey moments:
