TORONTO -- Kasey Beirnes had three goals and an assist and Rob Hellyer scored twice and set up five more to power the Toronto Rock to a 12-9 win over the Buffalo Bandits on Friday in National Lacrosse League action.
   
Dan Linter had two goals and three helpers and Jesse Gamble also scored twice for Toronto (5-10). Turner Evans Stephan Leblanc and Josh Sanderson, with a goal and three assists, rounded out the offence.
   
Mark Steenhuis scored two goals and set up two more for the Bandits (10-5). Chad Culp, with two goals, and Adam Will, David Brock, Ryan Benesch, Nick Weiss, and Shane Smith also scored.
   
Rock goaltender Nick Rose stopped 41 shots for the win. Buffalo's Antony Cosmo made 46 saves in defeat.
