Cincinnati, OH - The Cincinnati Bengals have signed quarterback Josh Johnson.

Johnson spent 2014 with San Francisco and was inactive for 13 games. He was previously with Cincinnati during the 2013 campaign as the active backup to Andy Dalton and appeared in two games.

A fifth-round pick by Tampa Bay in 2008, Johnson has appeared in 29 games with five NFL starts. He played for the Buccaneers from 2008-11 and has completed 96-of-177 passes for 1,042 yards with five touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
