ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills have all seven rookie draft picks under contract after signing quarterback Cardale Jones on Tuesday.

Jones was a fourth-round draft pick out of Ohio State, where in 2014 he made the jump from third-stringer to starter in leading the Buckeyes to win a national championship. He eventually lost the starting job during his junior season last year, when questions were raised over his accuracy and decision-making ability.

He went 11-0 as a starter and finished with 15 touchdowns versus seven interceptions.

At 6-foot-5 and 253 pounds, Jones is considered a developmental project in Buffalo because of his limited playing time at Ohio State. He's expected to spend this season in a third-string role behind starter Tyrod Taylor and backup EJ Manuel.
