Sunrise, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Chicago Blackhawks traded goaltender Antti Raanta to the New York Rangers Saturday following the conclusion of the 2015 NHL Entry draft.

The Blackhawks received forward Ryan Haggerty in exchange for the Finnish netminder.

Raanta posted a 7-4-1 record with a 1.89 goals-against average and a .936 save percentage with one shutout last season. The 26-year-old was demoted to Rockford of the AHL after Scott Darling took over the primary backup duties in Chicago.

Haggerty, 22, signed as an undrafted free agent with the Rangers and totaled 15 goals and 18 assists in 76 games during his first professional season with New York's AHL affiliate in Hartford.

Earlier on Saturday, the Rangers traded backup goaltender Cam Talbot and the 209th pick in the draft to Edmonton for the 57th, 79th and 184th selections.
