CFL on TSN analyst Dave Naylor takes a look at three keys to success for each team heading into the 2012 regular season.
1. Ricky Ray adapting to his new surroundings
The new Argo quarterback must not only adjust to new teammates but also a new offensive system, similar to the one head coach Scott Milanovich operated when he was offensive co-ordinator in Montreal, which emphasizes getting the ball out quickly.
2. Rebuilding the secondary
The Argos have just one returning member in the defensive secondary, which is in part because of the change to the system under defensive co-ordinator Chris Jones that will see defenders in plenty of man-to-man situations.
3. The all-Canadian offensive line
The Argos are hoping to start five non-imports on the offensive line, including three additions not re-signed by other CFL teams in Andrew Jones, Marc Parenteau and Wayne Smith.
