CFL on TSN analyst Dave Naylor takes a look at three keys to success for each team heading into the 2012 regular season.
1. Steven Jyles or Kerry Joseph?
It's probably the CFL's biggest question heading into this season: Do the Esks have a legitimate starting quarterback after trading away Ricky Ray to Toronto? The answer to that question will determine whether that trade was a stroke of genius or stupidity.
2. The kicking game
Damon Duval is gone after a disappointing one-year in Edmonton. The Esks have added former Calgary punter Burke Dales and will be counting on one or both of Grant Shaw and Derek Schiavone to improve a league-worst field goal percentage from a year ago.
3. Canadian receiver
The Esks have lacked an elite Canadian receiving target for some time. They need second-year Nate Coehoorn or rookie Shamawd Chambers could step-up to fill that void.
