Top Canadians: Middle linebacker Shea Emry qualifies as a ratio buster, while offensive tackle Josh Bourke and guard Scott Flory rank among the CFL's best linemen.

Breakout Canadian: After bouncing between the offensive and defensive lines Hamilton, J.P. Bekasiak appears to have found a home at defensive tackle in Montreal.

Other Potential Canadian Starters: OT Jeff Perrett, OG Andrew Woodruff, OC Luc Brodeur-Jourdain, FS Etienne Boulay

Canadians To Watch: SB Eric Deslauriers and WR Danny Desriveaux have both been labelled for years as potential heir appparents to the now retired Ben Cahoon, as the Alouettes top homegrown receiver. Similarly, former first-round picks Dylan Steenbergen and Kristian Matte hope to move up the O-Line food chain with the retirements of Paul Lambert and import Skip Seagraves.

Top Canadian Rookies: Linebacker Curtis Dublanko, a 2010 draft choice, should contribute on special teams and provide non-import depth behind Emry.

In The Pipeline: The Als' non-import depth allowed them to take some gambles in this year's draft and, if things pan out, they could eventually have three of the top players in the class in San Diego Chargers defensive tackle Vaughn Martin, Baylor offensive lineman Phil Blake, and Montana kicker Brody McKnight.

The semifinals continue as Detroit's Pavel Datsyuk faces Cody Hodgson of the Sabres.
