Happy holidays to all you hoops fans! I'm going to take a few days and relax with my family for Christmas. We'll chat some hoops later in the week.

I'm heading to New Orleans and Orlando later in the week for Toronto Raptors games there. How about those Raptors? Five in a row! Who'da thunk it after the mess of a 4-19 start?

I'll tell you this, confidence is huge and they believe right now. They're playing really hard on defence, sharing the ball and most importantly, look like a team. It's fun; enjoy it.

On a much more important note, I want to wish each and every one of you all the best for the holidays. I hope and pray that all of you have fun, laughter, love, joy, happiness, good health and peace in your lives.

This is the greatest time of year and also the most difficult. Let's count our blessings and do all that we can to help others who need our help and friendship. One by one, we can and do make a difference.

I'm so fortunate and blessed in my life and I'm sure many of you feel the same way. It's a nice time of year to reflect on that. We have a lot to be thankful for.

Merry Christmas and have a wonderful holiday season!
