The St. Louis Cardinals remain at the top of the TSN.ca MLB Power Rankings, ahead of the Boston Red Sox and the resurgent Detroit Tigers.

Detroit has won five of six to move up from seven to three in the rankings, while the Washington Nationals also moved up four spots, from 11 to seven as they are getting healthy and 9-4 in their last 13 games.

A five-game winning streak bumped the Arizona Diamondbacks from 17 to 13 and the L.A. Angels of Anaheim, going 10-2 in their last dozen games, jumped from 22 to 17.

The Texas Rangers, losing designated hitter Lance Berkman and starting pitcher Nick Tepesch to the DL, slipped from four to eight, while the Cleveland Indians dropped from 13 to 18.

Also falling, the Colorado Rockies, missing Troy Tulowitzki and Dexter Fowler, are 5-14 in their last 19 games and fell from 15 to 20. Losers of nine straight, the San Diego Padres have plummeted from 20 to 26.

The Toronto Blue Jays have lost a little steam since their surge over .500, going 5-9 in their last 14 games and dropped a couple spots from 14 to 16 this week.
