The Detroit Tigers continue at the top of the TSN.ca MLB Power Rankings, ahead of the Los Angeles Dodgers and St. Louis Cardinals.

Following the top trio, the Tampa Bay Rays have climbed from eight to four, going 8-3 in their last 11 games as their strong pitching has been complemented by rookie right fielder Wil Myers and star third baseman Evan Longoria pacing the offence.

Also 8-3 in their last 11 games, Cleveland bumped from 14 to 11, though they hit the road to face Atlanta and Detroit for some big tests this week.

In the lower half of the Power Rankings, the Milwaukee Brewers and Philadelphia Phillies both jumped seven spots, to 18 and 20, respectively, based on recently competent play.

Oakland has stumbled a bit, going 9-14 over the last 23 games and fell from 10 to 13 in the rankings, while the Toronto Blue Jays plummeted from 19 to 26 and the Chicago Cubs sunk from 24 to 29.
