Washington, DC - The Toronto Blue Jays activated catcher Dioner Navarro from the 15-day disabled list following a 2-0 loss to the Washington Nationals in the opener of Tuesday's doubleheader.

Navarro, sidelined by a left hamstring injury, last played on April 21. He was batting .267 with four RBI in eight games prior to his injury.

The Blue Jays also optioned catcher Josh Thole to Triple-A Buffalo and recalled pitcher Scott Copeland from Buffalo for Game 2 of the doubleheader.
