The Toronto Blue Jays have  made a big splash in the international signing market.

The team has agreed to terms with former National League MVP and Montreal Expos legend Vladimir Guerrero's son, Vladimir, Jr.

Vladimir Jr. is the top ranked international prospect by Baseball America and fourth-ranked by MLB.com. According to reports, Guerreo appears to have inherited his father's swing.

The 16-year-old is currently an outfielder but may have to make the move to first base at some point.

The Blue Jays have a $2.324 million pool for international signings, with CBS's John Heyman reporting Guerrero signed for $3.9 million. Toronto also made a move Thursday, sending prospects Chase de Jong and Tim Locastro to the Los Angeles Dodgers for between $1 to $2 million slot money to lessen or possibly eliminate the tax on the Guerrero signing.
