The St. Louis Blues and Magnus Paajarvi won't be headed to arbitration.

The team announced on Wednesday that it had agreed to terms with the Swedish winger on a one-way, one-year deal. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Paajarvi was a restricted free agent.

The 24-year-old, originally drafted 10th overall in the 2009 NHL Draft, came over to the Blues in a 2013 trade with the Edmonton Oilers that saw David Perron head to the Alberta capital.

Paajarvi has dressed in 65 games for the Blues over two seasons in which he had six goals and seven assists. He appeared in 36 games for the Blues' American Hockey League-affiliate Chicago Wolves last season, scoring 11 goals and adding 18 helpers.
