Bolts sign Hedman to eight-year extension
The Tampa Bay Lightning have locked up another cornerstone player. Two days after the Lightning signed C Steven Stamkos, the team announced they've signed defenceman Victor Hedman to a eight-year, $63 million contract extension.

Two days after the Lightning signed C Steven Stamkos, the team announced they've signed defenceman Victor Hedman to a eight-year, $63 million contract extension.
Hedman had 10 goals and 37 assists for the Lightning in 78 games last year.
The second overall pick in the 2009 Draft, Hedman has 49 goals and 180 assists in 470 career games.
