Former boxing champion Thomas (Hitman) Hearns matched wits Tuesday with a chicken named Ginger in a battle of tic-tac-toe.
The Greektown Casino in Detroit says the seven-time world boxing champion won one round, but another ended in a tie.
The event was part of a promotional stunt for the hotel.
Hearns held WBA, WBC, WBU and IBO titles ranging from the welterweight to cruiserweight divisions from 1980 to 1999.
