WINNIPEG - Austen Brassard's goal late in the second period held up as the winner as the Manitoba Moose topped the Bakersfield Condors 3-1 on Sunday in American Hockey League action.

Scott Kosmachuk had a goal and an assist for the Moose (4-9-2) and J.C. Lipon also scored.

Anton Slepyshev had the lone goal for Bakersfield (7-7-1), tying the game 1-1 on a power play with 11 seconds to go in the first period.

Eric Comrie stopped 32 shots for the victory. Laurent Brossoit made 25 saves in defeat.

The Condors were 1 for 2 on the power play while Manitoba failed to score on four chances with the man advantage.
