Thon Maker and Canadian Dillon Brooks are among the 162 players who declared early eligibility for the 2016 NBA Draft prior to the deadline this past Sunday.

The draft will be held on June 23 in Brooklyn.

Brooks just finished his sophomore season at Oregon and helped lead the Ducks to a top seed in the West Region and an Elite Eight appearance at March Madness. He led Oregon with 22 points in a Sweet 16 victory over Duke. The 20-year-old hails from Mississauga, Ontario.

Maker, 19, has spent the past two years at the Orangeville (Ont.) Prep Athlete Institute. The 7-footer reportedly had his draft status granted by the NBA two weeks ago.

Under the current CBA, players can declare if "the player is or will be at least nineteen years of age during the calendar year in which the Draft is held, and, at least one NBA Season has elapsed since the player's graduation from high school." Maker, Sudanese-born and Australia-raised, finished his schooling last June and satisfied the requirement.
