Boston Bruins prospect Jeremy Lauzon “out of danger” after suffering a neck laceration in Game 5 of the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies' playoff series against the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada on Friday night.

Reps of Lauzon, a second-round pick of the Bruins in the 2015 NHL Draft, told TSN Hockey Insider Bob McKenzie the defenceman was taken to hospital after suffering the injury on the ice.

The 18-year-old has one goal and seven assists in eight playoff games with the Huskies this season. He scored 10 goals and notched 40 assists in 45 games during the regular season.

The Huskies entered Game 5 of their quarter-final matchup with a 3-1 series lead. The Huskies went on to win the game 5-1 to take the series and advance to the QMJHL semifinals.
