BELLEVILLE, Ont. - It's all over for the Belleville Bulls.

Andrew Mangiapane had a pair of goals as the Barrie Colts doubled up Belleville 4-2 on Thursday to sweep their first-round series in Ontario Hockey League playoff action.

It's not just the end of the season for Belleville, but the end of an era. The Bulls, who have been in Belleville since 1981, were sold earlier in the season and will move to Hamilton, Ont. for the 2015-16 season. They will be renamed the Bulldogs.

Joseph Blandisi scored once and set up two more for the Colts while Jonathan Laser added the other.

Stephen Harper and Jordan Subban supplied the scoring for the Bulls, who said good bye to Yardmen Arena with a salute to the crowd.

Barrie's Mackenzie Blackwood made 38 saves for the win as Charlie Graham stopped 21-of-24 shots for Belleville.

The Colts went 1 for 2 on the power play while the Bulls scored once on five chances with the man advantage.

BATTALION 3 FRONTENACS 1

KINGSTON, Ont. — Matthew Santos scored twice and Jame Smith made 26 saves as North Bay eliminated the Frontenacs with a four-game sweep of its first-round matchup.

Mike Amadio also found the back of the net for the Battalion and Ray Huether added two helpers.

Juho Lammikko struck for Kingston, which got a 26-save outing from Lucas Peressini.

RANGERS 5 KNIGHTS 4

KITCHENER , Ont. — Gustaf Franzen had two goals and Jake Paterson stopped 32 shots as the Rangers slipped past London in Game 4 of their first-round matchup to stay alive.

Mason Kohn, Adam Mascherin and Ryan MacInnis also scored for Kitchener, which trails 3-1 in the best-of-seven series.

Christian Dvorak led the Knights with two goals and Jack Hidi and Mitchell Marner added the others. Tyler Parsons made 33 saves.

London will attempt to wrap up the series when it hosts Game 5 on Friday.

GENERALS 4 PETES 0

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. — Ken Appleby made 27 saves and Michael Dal Colle had a goal and two helpers as Oshawa blanked the Petes to go up 3-1 in its first-round series.

Bradley Latour, Matt Mistele and Mitchell Vande Sompel also scored for the Generals and Cole Cassels added three assists.

Matthew Mancina turned away 52-of-56 shots for Peterbrough, which played the third period without defenceman Cameron Lizotte after he was assessed a major at 19:03 of the second for checking to the head.

Game 5 goes Friday in Oshawa.

GREYHOUNDS 5 SPIRIT 2

SAGINAW, Mich. — Brandon Halverson stopped 23 shots and Anthony DeAngelo set up four goals as Sault Ste. Marie toppled the Spirit to sweep its first-round matchup.

Nick Ritchie, Darnell Nurse, Tim Gettinger, Michael Bunting and Sergey Tolchinksy supplied the scoring for the Greyhounds.

Artem Artemov and Vladislav Kodola scored for Saginaw as Evan Cormier kicked out 36-of-40 shots in defeat.
