Grey Cup MVP Henry Burris' time in the CFL may not be done yet. Even his time as the Ottawa Redblacks starter could still have some life.

TSN Senior Correspondent Gary Lawless spoke to Redblacks general manager Marcel Desjardins Monday morning following Ottawa's triumphant win over the Calgary Stampeders at the 104th Grey Cup Sunday night. Desjardins said despite the fact current backup Trevor Harris will be making starter's money next year and Burris, 41, seems to be in the twilight of his career, anything can happen from now to the start of the season.

Burris played in just eight games during the regular season after dealing with injuries during the early portion of the year. He threw for 2419 yards with a dozen touchdowns and nine interceptions in 2016, his third year with the team. Burris regained the starter's role over Harris for good in Week 16, eventually leading the Redblacks to their first Grey Cup victory in franchise history.

The 30-year-old Harris, who signed a two-year contract with Ottawa last winter, appeared in 12 games, throwing for 3301 yards with 16 touchdowns and four interceptions.
