Canada advances to final at U18 women's worlds
Ashton Bell scored twice to send Canada past Russia 4-0 in the semifinals of the Under-18 women's world championship in St. Catharines, Ontario. Canada will play the United States in the gold medal game on Friday night (TSN2, 7:30pm et/4:30pm pt).

Ashton Bell scored twice to send Canada past Russia 4-0 in the semifinals of the Under-18 women's world championship in St. Catharines, Ontario.
Emma Maltais added two assists and Edith D'Astous-Moreau earned the shutout for Canada.
Canada will play the United States in the gold medal game on Friday night (TSN2, 7:30pm et/4:30pm pt). The Americans beat Canada 4-1 in a Group A game in the preliminary round on Monday.
The U.S. advanced to the gold medal game with a 4-0 victory over Sweden earlier on Thursday.
