It only took six ends for Jennifer Jones and her Canadian rink to join the 3-0 group at the top of the World Women’s Curling Championship standings as they rolled to an 8-1 victory over Germany on Sunday.

The win pulled the Canadians even with South Korea, Russia and Sweden in first place, with Japan and USA right behind them at 2-1.

Canada scored four in the fifth end and stole two more in the sixth, when German skip Daniela Jentsch and her teammates decided to shake hands, bringing the game to an end.

Team Jones is off to an impressive start in North Bay as they defeated Czech Republic 11-5 in their opening match and Switzerland 10-5 in their second outing on Saturday.

Germany was the only team they faced on Sunday.
