Dreger Report: Subban stock could be rising for Olympics
The Canadian Olympic management team met Saturday and Sunday in California to further analyze Canada's list of players vying for a spot on the 2014 Olympic team. Time on his Side?
Even with the benefit of a later deadline, Team Canada general manager Steve Yzerman and his staff have less than a month to decide on their roster for the Sochi Olympics. A week could still make plenty of difference in the long run. Now Canada has until Jan. 7 to name its 25-man group with injury replacements still possible. Full Story.
Jonathan Drouin of the Halifax Mooseheads suffered concussion-like symptoms after being hit in Friday's game against the Quebec Remparts in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. Drouin was hit hard into the boards from behind by Remparts winger Adam Erne in the first period and did not return. Full Story.
