Leafs' Reimer, Rielly agree to join Team Canada for worlds

Leading the Way

Hockey Canada is expected to name Dave Tippett of the Phoenix Coyotes as head coach for the upcoming IIHF Men's World Championship in Belarus. Florida Panthers head coach Peter DeBoer has been confirmed as an assistant coach for Tippett, according to TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger. Full Story.

It appears Eric Staal has played his last hockey game for this season. According to Chip Alexander of the Raleigh News and Observer, Staal will not play for Team Canada in the upcoming World Hockey Championship in Belarus. Full Story.
