CALGARY -- Canada's roster for the IIHF World Hockey Championship is nearly set.

Duncan Keith and Patrick Sharp of the Chicago Blackhawks have both agreed to join the team for next month's tournament, leaving just one opening at forward and another at defence.

General manager Kevin Lowe was expected to fill those spots quickly with the team scheduled to play two exhibition games in Zurich later in the week.

Keith is the third member of the team who won Olympic gold in Vancouver, joining Corey Perry and Ryan Getzlaf.

At age 30, Sharp is the senior member of the squad so far. He's also one of five players who scored at least 30 goals in the NHL this season.

Canada opens the tournament in Helsinki with a game against Slovakia on May 4.
