The Montreal Canadiens have agreed to terms with defenceman Jarred Tinordi on a one-year, two way contract, general manager Marc Bergevin announced on Wednesday.

Tinordi appeared in 13 games last season with the Canadiens and recorded two assists.  He also played in 44 games with the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League and posted seven points, including six assists.

The 23-year-old was selected 22nd overall in the first round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft by the Canadiens.
