Canucks send Shinkaruk to AHL
The Vancouver Canucks have sent down Hunter Shinkaruk, assigning him to their AHL affiliate the Utica Comets. Shinkaruk was drafted by the Canucks 24th overall in the 2013 draft. He wrapped up his WHL career with the Medicine Hat Tigers last year playing after playing in only 15 games before undergoing hip surgery.
