Tiger-Cats sign DT Davis to new contract
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats made a surprise signing Tuesday, coming to terms with defensive tackle Torrey Davis on a new contract. Davis was expected to move on from the Ticats after not re-signing with the team prior to free agency, but decided to stick around nearly a month after the free agent market opened. The Toronto Argonauts announced on Monday that the club had released import defensive lineman Khalif Mitchell to pursue NFL opportunities. The 28-year-old East Carolina product spent the last season with the Argos after having spent the previous three with the B.C. Lions. Full Story.
