Willy hits Grigsby for TD as time expires; Bombers edge Ticats

Drew Willy's two-yard TD pass to Nic Grigsby on the final play of the game rallied the Winnipeg Blue Bombers to a stirring 27-26 comeback win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Thursday night. New Approach

The Als couldn't have found more polar opposites when hiring their new coaching consultants. Don Mathews was, for a time, the winningest coach in CFL history, while Turk Schonert, the longtime NFL QB and assistant coach who went to two Super Bowls with the Bengals, had no idea so much motion was allowed pre-snap after attending Alouettes practice for the first time. The Grey Cup

The 101st Grey Cup: The Saskatchewan Roughriders captured their fourth Grey Cup in franchise history, and the first on their home field, with a 45-23 blowout of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Kory Sheets had a record-setting day, rushing for a Grey Cup record 192 yards on 19 carries, breaking the mark of 169 set by Edmonton's Johnny Bright in 1956.
