Jan. 2 - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers appear to have lost two free agents to the NFL. According to a report in the Winnipeg Sun, Blue Bombers head coach Tim Burke said last week that a couple of his players had agreed to NFL contracts. Jan. 1 - It appears the B.C. Lions loss is the Cleveland Browns gain. The Browns have reportedly signed Lions' linebacker Solomon Elimimian to a reserve/future contract. Dec. 5 - The Toronto Argonauts released DE/LB Ejiro Kuale, a little over a week after winning the 100th Grey Cup. Kuale, set to become a free agent in February, was granted his release early by the Argonauts so that he could pursue NFL opportunities before the February 15th free agency date, according to TSN CFL analyst Dave Naylor.
