Investors Group Field Blue Bombers christen Investors Group Field

The long wait is finally over for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and their fans. After construction delays postponed the opening of Investors Group Field for a full year, the Bombers kick off the 2013 season in their new digs.

The game also marks new Alouettes head coach Dan Hawkins' debut in the CFL.

Week 1: Hamilton Tiger-Cats at Toronto Argonauts (June 28, 7pm et/4pm pt)
Toronto Argonauts Argos open title defence in rivalry game

The quest to repeat as Grey Cup champions begins for the Toronto Argonauts at home against their provincial rivals, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Toronto will also receive their championship rings in front of their hometown fans.

Tiger-Cats head coach Kent Austin will also make his return to the CFL sidelines, six years after winning a Grey Cup with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Week 1: Saskatchewan Roughriders at Edmonton Eskimos (June 29, 3:30pm et/12:30pm pt)
Mike Reilly Ed Hervey Era begins in Edmonton with Mike Reilly at QB

No team had a bigger off-season makeover than the Edmonton Eskimos. Fans will get their first look at new GM Ed Hervey's on-field product with perhaps the biggest addition to the team, former BC Lion Mike Reilly, leading from under centre.

Week 2: Toronto Argonauts at BC Lions (July 4, 10pm et/7pm pt)
Khalif Mitchell Khalif Mitchell's return to BC?

It's always interesting with Khalif Mitchell. After being traded from the BC Lions to the Toronto Argonauts this off-season, the former All-Star defensive tackle had some choice words for Lions GM Wally Buono. It's still unclear if Mitchell will report to the Argos for the upcoming season, but if he does, this game could provide fireworks.

Week 2: Edmonton Eskimos at Hamilton Tiger-Cats (July 7, 5pm et/2pm pt)
Alumni Stadium, University of Guelph Guelph hosts first game as temporary home for Ticats

CFL fans in Guelph will get to see the product first hand in their own backyard as the Hamilton Tiger-Cats open the home portion of their schedule in their temporary home at the University of Guelph. Look for the game to have a distinct college atmosphere.

Week 4: Hamilton Tiger-Cats at Saskatchewan Roughriders (July 21, 7pm et/4pm pt)
Kent Austin Kent Austin returns to Rider Nation

Kent Austin led the Roughriders to a Grey Cup victory in 2007 before heading south to coach American college football. Six years later, he's back in the CFL and makes his return to Mosaic Stadium in Week 4, this time wearing black and gold and leading the Tiger-Cats.

Week 9: Calgary Stampeders at Toronto Argonauts (Aug. 23, 7:30pm et/4:30pm pt)
Dontrelle Inman Grey Cup Rematch

The Calgary Stampeders will have to wait until the midway point of the season to get another shot against the Toronto Argonauts. By late August, teams will be preparing for the stretch drive, but the Stamps may be looking to exact some revenge against the 100th Grey Cup champs in Week 9.

Week 10: Winnipeg Blue Bombers at Saskatchewan Roughriders (Sept. 1, 4pm et/1pm pt)
Joey Elliott gets sacked Prairie Labour Day Classic

The Battle of Ontario is taking a year off this Labour Day, but fans in the Prairies will still get to enjoy the historic rivalry between the Roughriders and Blue Bombers.

Week 10: Edmonton Eskimos at Calgary Stampeders (Sept. 2, 5pm et/2pm pt)
Jon Cornish Labour Day Classic in Alberta

One day after the Roughriders and Blue Bombers go head-to-head in their rivalry game, the Calgary Stampeders and Edmonton Eskimos battle for bragging rights in the province of Alberta.

Week 11: Saskatchewan Roughriders at Winnipeg Blue Bombers (Sept. 8, 4pm et/1pm pt)
Terrence Edwards Banjo Bowl

It would be remiss to profile the Prairie Labour Day Classic without also mentioning the rematch a week later, the 'Banjo Bowl' in Winnipeg. Each Week 11 game is a rematch of the week before, but none carry the significance of the second half of Saskatchewan and Winnipeg's home and home.

Week 13: Montreal Alouettes at Hamilton Tiger-Cats (Sept. 21, 4pm et/1pm pt)
Moncton CFL fans Touchdown Atlantic

The third edition of "Touchdown Atlantic" will be played in late September. After taking a year off from visiting the Maritimes, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats return to Moncton for a second time, this time to face the Montreal Alouettes. The first two games hosted by Moncton were both successes, and the third is highly anticipated.

Week 15: Montreal Alouettes at Edmonton Eskimos (Oct. 5, 3:30pm et/12:30pm pt)
Dan Ferrone Hall of Fame Game

The game should be a good one, but the spotlight on this date will be on the 2013 Canadian Hall of Fame Class, including Dan Ferrone, Earl Winfield, Miles Gorrell, and Jake Ireland.
