Head coach Scott Milanovich says middle linebacker Robert McCune (shoulder) will be a game-time decision. McCune took part in light position drills on Friday, but didn't participate in first team reps. In those first team reps, the Argos linebacking trio was: Ball - Yurichuk (or Hood, occasionally) - Horton.
Former NFLers DT Marcus Thomas and DE Aaron Maybin were in for most first team reps. They have played a combined three CFL games.
WR John Chiles also took the majority of reps over Romby Byrant. At this point, Argos receivers will be Chiles, SB Dontrelle Inman, SB Andre Durie and WR Spencer Watt. RB Jerious Norwood took most of the first team reps. - TSN

Most would assume veteran Argos receiver Romby Bryant will be the odd-man out on a very deep and talented unit. Guess again. "We have not made a decision yet," said Argos head coach Scott Milanovich. "That one is going to take a couple of days." It's generally assumed one of the two designated import spots will be at receiver. What's not known is which receiver will sit. - Toronto Sun

With Chad Kackert (broken ankle) now out for the remainder of the playoffs, Jerious Norwood took most of the walkthrough reps today. For now head coach Scott Milanovich is leaning toward sharing reps between Norwood and Curtis Steele, and did not rule out the possibility of SB/RB Andre Durie featuring in the backfield.
On defence, DE Aaron Maybin took a lot of first team walkthrough reps, but there was a lot of chopping and changing going on, which is to be expected on early in the week.
Neiko Thorpe, who suffered a neck injury scare against Winnipeg last month, was in for most reps at defensive back, beside Patrick Watkins. - TSN

The 2013 season is quickly becoming one to forget for Chad Kackert. The Toronto Argonauts running back hurt his left ankle during the team's practice Friday afternoon at Rogers Centre. The extent of the injury wasn't immediately known but certainly leaves questions regarding the third-year player's availability Nov. 17. - Canadian Press

Head coach Scott Milanovich confirmed starting quarterback Ricky Ray will not play against the Als, along with defensive back Neiko Thorpe, who is week-to- week after suffering a neck injury last Thursday against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Though he wasn't ready to name other inactives for Friday, expect some notable names to be missing.
Receiver Spencer Watt, who was belted by Winnipeg's Johnny Sears and left the last game, is doing fine, Milanovich said. So too is linebacker Robert McCune, who banged up a knee but returned versus the Bombers. - Toronto Sun
