Import OT Tony Washington has been signed to a contract extension through the 2014 season. Originally signed by the Double Blue on July 4, 2012, Washington made 15 consecutive starts at left tackle, bookended by games against the Stampeders beginning in Week 7 and culminating in a Grey Cup Championship.

QB Josh Portis, DB Talmadge Jackson, DB Brandyn Thompson and DB Brent Vinsonhave all signed contracts with the Argos. Portis started 12 games in his senior year at California University of Pennsylvania. Thompson is a former draft pick of the Washington Redskins and was activated for six games during his rookie season. Vinson spent two seasons at the University of Tennessee before transferring to the University of North Alabama. Jackson has spent time with the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens and the Jacksonville Jaguars, and recently attended Saskatchewan Roughriders training camp in 2012. - Team Release
