The 6-foot-5 pass catcher, who is fourth in CFL receiving yards, missed practice Monday because he was seeing the doctor about his injured left knee, which he hurt originally in practice last week. Bombers head coach Mike O'Shea revealed Tuesday afternoon starting import safety Maurice Leggett - a part-time participant in practice at Investors Group Field on Tuesday - has a bad ankle and might not play Friday in Montreal against the Alouettes.

Non-import defensive back Donovan Alexander -- who missed all of training camp with an injury of his own -- took some first-team reps at safety Tuesday and would be a logical choice to replace Leggett if cannot go. - Winnipeg Free Press
